London, 20 September 2021 – The World Cement Association announced today that its 4th annual conference will take place on 20-21 October, bringing together global leaders and experts from the cement and wider hard to abate sector, to showcase and discuss the work and progress the industry has made towards decarbonisation, and what is needed in the years ahead.

London, 13 September 2021 – The World Cement Association (WCA) has announced that global energy technology company, Baker Hughes, has become the latest addition to its international community, joining as an Associate Corporate Member.

London, 15 March 2021 –The World Cement Association announced today it has further expanded its international network of members by welcoming Blue Planet as an Associate Corporate Member.

London, 22 February 2021 – The World Cement Association will hold a Virtual Member Forum on 10th March discussing Grinding and Milling Technologies. The Forum will feature speakers from Fives FCB, an international industrial engineering group, and Republic Cement, a building materials company operating in the Philippines.

London, 18 January 2021 – The World Cement Association’s Professional Committees (Safety & Health, Environment & Climate Change and Technology & Innovation) announced their goals for the global cement industry in the new year at the WCA’s 4th General Assembly Meeting in December, taking the opportunity to review progress made so far and set priorities for the year ahead.  

London, 21 December 2020 - The World Cement Association announced it has appointed two new Directors: Roland van Wijnen, CEO of Africa’s PPC Ltd., and Mahendra Singhi Managing Director & CEO of India’s Dalmia Cement. The appointments were agreed in a vote at the WCA General Assembly Meeting on the 10th of December 2020.
