After graduating from Cambridge University in 1979, Mr Riley worked in a number of management roles in the UK, the USA, Australia and Japan before moving to China in 1998. He was General Manager of a British project management and consulting firm, based in Shanghai and also Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai before joining Holcim/Huaxin in 2006.

As Huaxin VP responsible for international business, strategy and sustainability, he oversaw Huaxin’s first overseas venture in Tajikistan. Mr Riley was Greater China Country Head for LafargeHolcim from 2014 to 2019.  He has been CEO of WCA since September 1, 2019.

Dr. Andreas Sichert

Dr. Andreas Sichert is CEO and co-founder of Orcan Energy AG. He co-founded the company in 2008 together with Andreas Schuster and Richard Aumann.

Before founding Orcan Energy, Dr. Andreas Sichert worked at IBM Germany in the field of application development and management consulting and as a scientific editor.

He studied physics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where he also completed his PhD. He is an alumnus of Bayerische EliteAkademie, the Sloan Swartz Foundation, and a supporter of TUM’s start-up commitment. He has been a member of the SME Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. He has published several scientific articles in the field of Organic Rankine Cycle technology.

Markus Lintl

Markus Lintl has been working for Orcan since 2014, starting as Business Development Manager. Since the end of 2016, he has been the Head of Industry & New Business and is responsible for acquiring and implementing projects in the business segment “Industry”, including reference clients such as CEMEX, E.ON or BASF.
