FUSIOVRAC, the Cem’In’Eu cement with reduced carbon footprint, has already had its first major application in the Rhône-Alpes region of France.
Since its creation, the Cem’In’Eu company has continued to pursue its objective of reducing the carbon footprint of its cement products at each stage of the value chain. Taking a step further, and going beyond the simplification of its logistics model and of its optimised processes, an additional milestone has now also been reached with the launch of FUSIOVRAC, a pozzolan-based cement (CEM II / B-M (P-LL) 42.5 N CE NF) featuring an 18% reduction in carbon footprint when compared to a cement of traditional CEM II 42.5 classification, on the Rhône Ciments site in Portes-Lès-Valence (French Department 26).
