Please see below the upcoming schedule of WCA webinars.

Our webinar series is based on two broad themes; “COVID-19 and the Cement Industry”, which will feature topics on how the pandemic has impacted the cement industry, and “Life After COVID-19”, featuring topics on how cement producers and associated organisations can think about changes to their businesses beyond the end of the pandemic.

Each webinar will be hosted twice, once in English, once in Chinese. Please make sure you register for the correct webinar.

In this interview with China Cement Net, CUCC Chairman, Mr Cui Xingtai discusses how the cement industry can contribute to China's economic recovery, how CUCC is working to combat the epidemic and the company's plans for future development as well as those of the wider cement industry.

Our recent WCA member survey highlighted high levels of interest in the co-processing of municipal and hazardous wastes as alternative fuels for the cement industry. In this blog, Chinese cement producer, BBMG discusses their advances in and capacities for waste-co-processing, how this can contribute towards the Chinese Waste Free City vision, and how this technology can be used to dispose of medical waste during the COVID-19 epidemic.
