Ian Riley, CEO of WCA has participated in the latest episode of the Green Element Podcast, "Building Better: Sustainability in the Construction Industry", expressing his optimism for the future of the construction industry and sharing some invaluable advice for organisations looking to become more sustainable. 

London, 22 August 2022 – The World Cement Association (WCA) has held its first CEO-exclusive, pre-conference webinar, in which participants concluded that cement producers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) can halve carbon emissions with zero or low capital expenditure.

London, 3 August 2022 – The World Cement Association has announced its 5th annual conference and exhibition will take place from 25th – 28th September 2022, in person at the Emirates Towers, Dubai, UAE. The conference will bring together global leaders and experts from the cement and wider hard-to-abate sector, showcasing progress the industry has made towards decarbonisation, and discussing further opportunities to improve competitiveness while also reducing carbon emissions.
