London, 18th March 2020  – The World Cement Association announced today that it is welcoming Korea Cement Association (KCA) as an Affiliate Member of its international network.

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2020, held on Sunday 8th March, WCA are creating a blog mini-series highlighting the achievements of women across the global cement industry and showcasing where our members are working hard to achieve gender equality and diversity in their companies.

In this blog, we showcase the careers of four prominent women in the Chinese cement industry, who have been central to technological developments which have driven forward industrial progress. 

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2020, held on Sunday 8th March, WCA are creating a blog mini-series highlighting the achievements of women across the global cement industry and showcasing where our members are working hard to achieve gender equality and diversity in their companies.

This blog is in the format of a Q&A, where we hear the perspectives of four senior members of staff at Cem’in’Eu, an innovative cement producer headquartered in Nantes, France.

Women at YTL (or more affectionately known as “W@Y”), is YTL’s very own women’s network. It was established at YTL’s Leadership Conference in 2015 by Jillian Quah to address and promote gender equality and to empower girls and women in the YTL Family. This programme seeks to support the women across the organisation, helping them grow and reach their full potential.
