CIMAT-CIMAF

 

Ciments de l’Atlas (CIMAT) is a Moroccan cement producer founded in 2007, headquartered in Casablanca, with a capacity of 3.2mtpa in the Ben Ahmed and Beni Mellal regions.

The plants are fitted with the latest technology, allowing them to comply with the highest national and international standards.

The company is certified by ISO 9001 for quality management systems, 14001 for environmental compliance and OHSAS 18001 for health and safety.

Its pan-African subsidiary, Ciments de l’Afrique (CIMAF), was created in 2011 and has operations across West and Central Africa in 11 countries: Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Congo-Brazzaville, Ghana, Mali, Mauritania and Chad.

The group has also expanded its development into Europe, building its first cement plant in France. The subsidiary, named Les Vracs de l’Estuaire (VDE) was created in 2009 and has been operational since 2016, located in Le Havre (Normandie) with a capacity of 0,6mtpa.
