Norman Greig is a Qualified Concrete Technologist, Council Member and Fellow of The Institute of Concrete Technology, Fellow of Chartered Quality Institute, Chartered Quality Professional.

Since 1987, he is the founder and CEO of Construction Materials Consultancy and Management Consultancy, CCS Associates Limited.

Over 30 years’ experience in the cement and construction materials industry.

Current consultancy appointments include Key Expert to the EC Delegation to Russia EuropeAid project on EU construction regulatory framework, Construction Products Regulation, standards and CE marking. He also established and manages an online platform for Concrete Technology and Construction Training (CTCT) leading to the Institute of Concrete Technology examinations and qualifications.

Previous posts have included Head of Construction Materials and cement testing at Harry Stanger Laboratories.

Extensive international consulting experience in cement, concrete and construction materials. Specialises in process understanding and improvement, change management and integrated management systems.

Consultant to many cement and construction materials companies on process improvement, SPC, quality, environment and certification including many years as consultant to Heidelberg Cement International Trading.

Extensive experience of CE marking of construction materials, ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 certification for major construction projects, laboratory testing and accreditation.
